Sandy Gayman,
Speech-Language Pathologist
I am a graduate of University of Toronto’s Master of Health Science program (Speech-Language Pathology) and University of Waterloo’s Bachelor of Science program (Kinesiology). Since graduating in 2008 I have worked in the area of pediatrics, finding joy in helping families support their children on the way to their full potential.
My Story
I believe that parents are the experts when it comes to their child and therefore have a passion for collaboration in play-based therapy to achieve a meaningful change. I have substantial experience in the areas of autism spectrum disorder, speech sound disorders, early language acquisition, feeding, complex communication delays, and delays related to hearing loss. Above all, I believe that having fun is essential to effective learning. I can’t wait to bring that fun to my clients at We Communicate.
When I am not working, you can find me hanging out with my husband, two children, and our dog in Kitchener-Waterloo. I enjoy spending time at our cottage, creating memories through travel, and I’m a sucker for a great book!
